Last night

Last night I had a double whammy of Festival goodness with William Gibson and a MidsummernightsTree. What a night! The interviewer was nowhere near as well read, sympathetic or eloquent as Cory Doctorow and the gang were for the Boing Boing William Gibson interview but the reading was great. As for the show… it was a fantastic end to the Fringe with break dancing, acrobatics and some weird stuff! Woo!

Rjd2 – Work it out (Featuring Bill “Crutch Master†Shannon)
The video features Bill Shannon, who uses a skateboard and crutches to cope with a degenerative hip condition. More info here. Cool song and extra cool video.

Holden Efijy Concept

Having had a quick go of Test Drive Unlimited at the weekend. I think that I may have to add the Holden Concept Efijy to my wish list… Seems that I can’t use my Amazon wish list but I’d like one all the same!

The Four Chords Song
Not strictly the history of music, but a bunch of songs that I like (or liked for a while).

Video Killed the Radio Star by The Wrong Trousers
The choice of instruments is what makes this cover song perfect. Harp, double bass and mandolin – what a combo!
