When Holger told me about his ideas about a Longnose LR standing around his Series II in his shed in 2006 I was like "Wow, someone HAS to build it!".
It's a classic and stunning design paired with modern technologies and sure an addition to the offroad world even if none ever will be driven off the tarmac, it's a collectible that can be used every day and still will turn heads in 10 or 50 yrs from now.
The HX on the other hand would be something to get off the beaten track and put it through the terrain it's build for, off to the mall and the Rubicon the next day. So both have thir legibilities.
Holger & Thomas, as soon as I win the lottery you'll will have to build mine in desert sand colour please.

I don´t think you can really compare them. I´ve met the guy who is building the Longnose and I think the whole project is a very interesting one - a combination of timeless design and modern technology.

But if I had to choose I´d take the Hummer anytime, I think I´m an american car guy (as you can easily see on www.teamgerbil.de)

Best regards,
Jan

The Longnose. Why? For me the sexiest OffRoadCar ever produced.
Hummer and Longnose is like comparing Hulk Hogan with George Clooney.
