Band Of The Week – Staphan O’Bell
It’s totally cool for you to not know who Staphan O’Bell is but it isn’t cool for you to not know what Bandcamp is. The Bandcamp site lets artists promote and sell their music online with cool looking custom pages. Go check out Staphan O’Bell to hear some of the great tunes that are on there.

Band Of The Week – Steel Train
It’s weird when I hear about a band that I should have already heard of because they’re sort of already quite famous. Steel Train are one of those bands. They have supported loads of other bands (including Tegan and Sara, Ben Folds, Silversun Pickups, – Hanson! – and the Barenaked Ladies). They’ve also performed on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and The Late Show With David Letterman. Unsurprisingly they’re pretty good to listen to! Enjoy.

Band Of The Week – The Beards
In honour of my winter beard this week’s Band Of The Week are The Beards. Hailing from Australia they do comedy songs mostly about beards. I was going to pick “It Only Takes A Fortnight…” but I thought that “If Your Dad Doesn’t Have a Beard, You’ve Got Two Mums” had too ridiculous a title to ignore. Enjoy!

Band Of The Week – Aaron Wright
Aaron Wright is one of the acts that were in the running for the Hogmanay stage in Edinburgh this year and the song “Go On Yer Self” is catchy with a fun rocknroll feel. Enjoy.
